Welcome to the Northern Ireland Self-Catering Holiday Association's (NISCHA) Website.

A warm welcome is one thing you are sure to find wherever you go in Northern Ireland.  For you, as a prospective visitor, we offer the ultimate in freedom of choice and the opportunity to temporarily move home, whether to a busy seaside resort, the beauty and tranquillity of the Antrim Coast and Glens, walking in the Mountains of Mourne, hire a boat on the Erne Lakes in Fermanagh, the bustle of Belfast City Centre, the culture and history of the cites of Armagh or Derry or the quiet simplicity of a rural setting anywhere in Northern Ireland. The choice is endless!

Good value does not mean a compromise on standard, as all registered self catering accommodation is inspected annually by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB), the hospitality and welcome, comes ‘free of charge’.

So please, take your time and enjoy perusing our website for accommodation whilst also referring to our events section which is supplied and updated by the NITB. 

All of the properties are inspected and graded by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.  As different people have different holiday home requirements at different times, for your convenience we have categorised our properties in a number of ways: by County; by Town; by Grade and by Number of Premises on site.  The choice can be further honed by using further key features.

Please note when you book a premises a deposit is normally required and there may be additional charges such as gas, electricity and cleaning, these charges will be listed within individual entries or will be confirmed on booking.  For security deposits, a set amount is charged but this is returned based on an inspection by the agent/owner.  Whilst the Association hopes everyone has a lovely break in their new ‘home’ we must remind you that all areas have to comply with local regulations such as with waste collection, we ask that all you comply with separation of waste, non compliance may have to be passed onto those staying.
